Furry Friends visit Moorhouse

We’ve got some adorable and feathered news to share with you all!
A big thank you to Caroline Seignot, who brought a whole new level of charm and joy to Moorhouse by introducing us to some furry and feathery friends! She brought along six adorable guinea pigs, two rabbits, two clucking chickens, and the one and only Florence the duck, who’s truly a character of her own.
Animal therapy is an incredible way to uplift spirits, reduce stress, and promote a sense of connection among our residents and staff. The simple act of petting and interacting with the animals can proved physical and psychological benefits for our residents. The soothing presence of animals facilitates improved communication, enabling better expression of thoughts and feelings. Non-verbal interactions with our furry friends can also empower residents to connect on a deeper level, fostering a renewed sense of engagement with their surroundings.
Caroline’s thoughtful gesture has not only brought smiles to our faces but also a tangible sense of comfort and tranquillity.
These animals have already made a big impact on our home, fostering connections, sparking conversations, and adding an extra layer of warmth to our community.
Thank you, Caroline, for making this day special for our residents!
