Inspiring Acts of Kindness

We are immensely proud to highlight the incredible gesture made by Raquel, our Head of Housekeeping at Moorhouse Nursing Home!

In a beautiful display of compassion, she selflessly cut 18 inches of her hair to donate to ‘The Little Princess Trust‘! This is a remarkable charity that provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. Not only that, but they also fund research for childhood cancer, searching to find kinder and more effective treatments.

By making this selfless act, Raquel has given a tremendous gift of hope and confidence to young princesses who are going through challenging times. Her beautiful hair will be transformed into a wig, bringing joy and a sense of normalcy to those who need it most.
