We are overjoyed to announce that Holmer Court has received an outpouring of love and support from all around the world!
If you are planning a holiday this year, near or far or having a wonderful staycation, please can you spare a moment to send us a postcard from wherever you may be! Many people in our Care Home can no longer enjoy trips away but in sending a card you will be helping them recall happy memories and provide even more by sharing your holidays/home with them.
The response to our Postcard Plea has been nothing short of incredible, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who took the time to send us a postcard. From distant shores to nearby towns, your beautiful postcards have brought immense joy and happiness to the residents of our home. Each card has been a window into the captivating sights, enchanting cultures, and cherished memories that you have shared with us. Through your thoughtfulness, you have transported our residents to places they may never have the opportunity to visit again. The stories they imagine, the laughter they share, and the conversations sparked by these postcards have created a tapestry of connection and warmth within our community.
Every day, our residents eagerly gather to admire the beautiful scenery, absorb the heartfelt messages, and revel in the thoughtfulness of strangers turned friends. They feel a connection to each of you, knowing that you took the time to include them in your adventures.
