Allt Y Mynydd’s remarkable Fete

We’re absolutely thrilled to report that Allt Y Mynydd Nursing Home’s Fete on Saturday 9th September was an outstanding success! Residents, families, friends, and our dedicated staff all came together to enjoy a truly fabulous afternoon in the sun, despite the scorching heat.
We wish to express our profound gratitude to each person who played a part in orchestrating this remarkable event. Your unwavering support and unbridled enthusiasm breathed life into our Fete, making it the unforgettable day that it was.
Generous donations poured in, and many kind-hearted individuals lent their helping hands during the event. We want to give a special shout-out to Ian and Sylvia for their wonderful musical performance that added to the charm of the day.
Our Fete offered a wide range of activities and stalls, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy: a delightful cake stall, an exciting raffle, a captivating tobola, a bric-a-brac treasure trove, artistic face painting, a thrilling lucky dip, and entertaining games like “Catch the Rat.” The food options were equally enticing, featuring hotdogs, soups, fresh lemonade, teas, coffees, and a variety of lollies at our Caffe.
The most incredible news of all is that, together, we raised an impressive £545 for our residents’ Activity Fund. This contribution will greatly enhance the quality of life for our residents and provide them with more opportunities for enjoyment and fulfillment.
The day was filled with laughter, a strong sense of community, and heartwarming moments. We are deeply grateful to each of you for being a part of this unforgettable experience and for making it such a special and successful event.
