Broomy Hill Nursing Home celebrates World Book Day 2022
Residents at Broomy Hill Nursing Home in Hereford enjoyed a day celebrating UK’s World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March, with the home’s Activities Coordinator, Becky.
Dressed as Anne Boleyn, Becky took requests from residents and read sections from their favourite books, whilst they enjoyed home-made lemon drizzle cake and tea!
Becky said “The residents loved the day, their favourite books tended to be thrillers and the more gruesome, the better!”
World Book Day is a charity funded by publishers and booksellers in the UK and Ireland and promotes reading for pleasure.
