Day-to-day and specialist nursing and residential care in England and Wales

With a maximum of between 30 to 44 residents across our care homes, our smaller communities build a sense of place, friendship and belonging. They also give you the peace of mind that our staff have the resources, time and dedication to provide your loved one with unwavering exceptional care.

The home-from-home elderly care at every Ashberry care home makes our residents feel supported, respected and safe. Wellbeing and personal preferences are crucial, so we provide a menu of home-cooked meals on-site, a varied and inclusive programme of activities, and a range of events involving families, friends and the local community.

We encourage you and your loved ones to take part in all care decisions. We listen to, respect and value all input at all times. And you can contact us at any hour of day or night to talk to us about your family or friend, and ask questions about their care plans.

Our team at Ashberry

Throughout our homes, you’ll find a team of staff who provide specific care, individual nursing, and true friendships to all our residents. Every single person has an important role to play. From the kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance teams through to the administration and management staff, each individual makes sure your loved one’s practical, medical and emotional needs are not only met, but exceeded.

Our team are all thoroughly trained and qualified to provide day-to-day care and identify concerns, with key staff specialising in specific areas of dementia care and nursing care. Yet we know it’s more than skills and knowledge that make your loved one feel at home. Most of our staff have more than five years’ service, building invaluable trust and the sense of community that means so much to our residents. And they share our principles, as we only employ people who hold the same values for compassionate, quality care.

It’s also vital that you know the home you’ve chosen will deliver the exceptional standards of care you should rightly expect. All our homes are regularly assessed by Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and Care Inspectorate Wales (CiW). So you can rest assured we’re independently monitored and constantly working to achieve the highest possible ratings across all our homes.

Compassion

Whatever the need for elderly care, we understand it can be emotionally demanding for our residents and their families. A trial session before you join us makes the move into a care home as smooth as possible. And we’ll keep you informed about your loved one’s care plans, treatment and wellbeing sensitively, promptly and openly.

Integrity

Every single one of our homes is regularly, independently and critically assessed. That way, you have continued peace of mind and complete trust in our care and our environments to meet only the highest award-winning standards.

Loyalty

No matter your background, needs or preferences, your loved one is welcome at an Ashberry care home. We are privileged and duty bound to support and look after our valued residents. With smaller care homes built on community spirit, their values will be respected and their personal feelings heard.

Philosophy of care

Through our core values of Compassion, Integrity and Loyalty, we have a clear philosophy of care to our residents.
