Alzheimer’s day at Allt Y Mynydd
What a heartwarming day we had at our care home’s Café in honour of Alzheimer’s Day this year!
We gathered with our amazing residents for a delightful sing-along session that filled our hearts with joy and memories. Our residents were surrounded by Tunnocks tea cakes and sipped on refreshing Tropical Fizz, coming together to sing their hearts out to some timeless classics such as “Daisy, Daisy”, I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles”, and “Yellow Sunshine”.
The smiles, laughter, and shared moments of nostalgia were simply priceless. It’s moments like these that remind us of the power of music and connection in our journey to support those living with Alzheimer’s.
Thank you to our incredible residents for filling our café with warmth and song, and to our dedicated staff for making today extra special.
