This Winter, Meadowview introduced something truly special: Meadowview’s Magical Choir! It’s already become a cherished part of life here, bringing smiles, laughter, and a sense of togetherness to our residents and their families.

A Love for Music

At Meadowview, there’s nothing our residents enjoy more than a good singalong, and it turns out we have some truly amazing singers with incredible voices! Every song we sing is carefully chosen by our residents, making each performance personal and heartfelt. In fact, some of our singers know the songs so well they don’t even need the choir sheets—proof that music really does live in the heart.

Singing, Dancing, and Togetherness

While most of our choir members remain seated, our choir sessions have evolved into more than just singing—there’s dancing on the dance floor too! It’s a joy to see the energy and enthusiasm as residents tap their feet, clap their hands, or get up to dance. The magic of the choir spreads to everyone around, and visiting family members often can’t help but join in the fun.

A Lovely Christmas Performance

The choir recently performed for the visiting primary school children from St. Vincent’s, and it was absolutely lovely! The performance included a selection of Christmas songs that filled the air with festive cheer. Residents, families, and children alike enjoyed the warmth and joy that only a Christmas carol can bring.

A Finale to Remember

Our performances end with an absolute showstopper: “Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellen Bogen by the Sea.” It’s a resident favorite that never fails to bring the house down, leaving everyone smiling and humming along long after the last note has been sung.
