A Night of Fun and Fundraising at the Breinton Road Elderly Day Care Community Quiz!
We’re excited to share the incredible success of our recent Quiz Night fundraiser, held at the Hereford Lads Club. With over 60 participants forming 12 teams, it was a night filled with laughter, camaraderie, and most importantly, support for a worthy cause. Let’s dive into the highlights of the event and how it made a positive impact on the community.
Trivia Triumphs and Hilarious Moments:
Throughout the evening, teams battled it out over brain-teasing trivia questions, showcasing their knowledge across various categories. Special mention goes to the “Stars on Tuesday” team for their impressive victory, claiming the title of Quiz Night champions! And let’s not forget the team with the best name – “I thought this was speed dating”. A standout moment of the night was the foil animal-making round, expertly judged by Mick.
Community Spirit and Generosity:
Beyond the trivia, the heart of the event was in its support for Carers of Herefordshire. Thanks to the generosity of participants, we were able to raise an incredible £200 to assist unpaid carers in our community. These funds will go towards organising events, providing support services, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of carers who dedicate themselves to their loved ones.
Looking Ahead:
The success of the Quiz Night has inspired us to continue our efforts in supporting our community. We’re thrilled to announce that due to popular demand, another quiz night is already in the works for the summer!
