Senior care assistant

As a Senior Carer, you will have previous experience working in a care environment and will have gained skills that enable you to work in a busy dementia care home and lead the team. You will need to have your level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Strong leadership skills, communication skills and working as part of a team is essential to ensure that our residents are happy and well cared for.

Responsibilities will include:-

- Monitoring standards of care delivered to our residents

- Ensuring resident needs are being met and resolving any problems where appropriate

- Preparing, updating and evaluating Resident Care Plans

- Administering prescribed medication and maintaining the necessary records as per Company guidelines

- Ensuring there is a clear and concise handover at every shift

-Dealing with healthcare professionals

Please note the post is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS. The cost of the DBS is covered by Ashberry Healthcare.
