As we step into 2025, the wonderful residents of Meadowview Care Home in Warrington have been sharing their heartfelt and inspiring New Year’s resolutions. Each resolution offers a glimpse into the joyful and fulfilling lives of our residents, showcasing their positivity and zest for life. Let’s hear from them:
Alma: Alma’s resolution is to go on more garden walks. She loves being surrounded by nature and finds great peace and joy in exploring the greenery around Meadowview.
Marjorie: Marjorie’s perspective is heart-warming: “I don’t have a resolution, as I have everything I want.”
Irene: Irene is looking forward to doing a lot more singing this year. Her beautiful voice and enthusiasm for music bring so much warmth to everyone around her. She loves to join in our Meadowview Magic Choir- read up on it here.
Josie: Josie’s resolution is perhaps the most delightful: “Nothing, as everything is great already!” What a wonderful sentiment to carry into the New Year.
Marg: Marg’s resolution is to be even happier and to dance more. Her energy and love for dancing are infectious, and we can’t wait to see her lighting up the room with her moves!
Marlene: Marlene’s goal for 2025 is to sing more and indulge in more cake and chocolate. A perfect combination of joy and sweetness, much like Marlene herself.
Anita: Anita says she couldn’t wish for anything more. She loves seeing the children in her life growing up and cherishes those moments deeply.
Fran: Fran’s resolution is to help more people and have lots more chats. Her caring nature and vibrant conversations are a blessing to all of us at Meadowview.
Beryl: Beryl is planning to do more knitting, laundry, and baking this year. Her homemade treats and cosy knitted creations are always appreciated by everyone.
Harry: Harry’s resolution is to be more happy. His positive outlook is a reminder to focus on the simple joys of life.
Dorothy: Dorothy wants to have more fun and laughs this year. Her laughter is contagious, and she’s always the life of the party.
Nicky: Nicky’s resolution is to go on more walks. He loves the fresh air and the opportunity to stay active while enjoying the outdoors.
Dorothy S: Dorothy S has set her sights on buying more nice clothes and treating herself to a new red coat. Her impeccable style always turns heads, and we’re excited to see her choices this year.
